Woodrow Wilson Administration
Thomas Woodrow Wilson
Thomas Woodrow Wilson was a political scientist and politician who served as the 28th President of the United States. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, becoming the first winner from a Southern background after the Civil War. Although he maintained neutrality during the early stages of World War I, he decided to enter the war in 1917. After the war, he proposed the "Fourteen Points" and contributed to the establishment of the League of Nations, the world's first collective security organization, at the Paris Peace Conference. Domestically, he advanced numerous reforms, including the establishment of the Federal Reserve System (FRB).
