Claude Denson Pepper

Claude Denson Pepper was an American politician born in Alabama who served as a U.S. Senator representing Florida. He passionately supported President Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal policies and worked tirelessly to advocate for workers' rights, including the introduction of the minimum wage. In foreign policy, he strongly opposed pre-WWII isolationism and led the legislative push for the Lend-Lease Act.
